Rio Ferdinand who is well known not to be a fan of Chelsea believes Tammy Abraham is making excellent progress and improvements after his game on Wednesday against Lille.
Rio hasn’t been the fan of the youngster from on set but said to see different side of him in the 2-1 win, saying he saw shades of Didier Drogba in him.
“I saw motives in Tammy’s game today that I haven’t seen before. His hold-up play, coming to the ball and bringing others into play”.
“First half, a ball came to him he chests it down for someone and made a very good run to receive it back. He’s improving and I think he’s a threat.
That is some deserved high praise and we hope Tammy can live up with this consistently and then maybe he could forget he’s young and start reckoning him as a very dangerous player. Having scored 8 goals in 10 games, I think he’s no less a threat.
