Conor Gallagher a 19-year-old forward who is currently on loan at Charlton born in Epsom in England has been a hot topic with current pace of attributed professionalism.
Conor played wide in the U16 and now as a central midfielder in the earlier years, he’s a graduate of the development team who has been at Chelsea since age of six and very much a team player.
From a family of Chelsea supporters, he signed a new contract with the club in Oct 2018 which will see him till summer of 2021 but currently on loan at Charlton.
“You can’t get bored of winning trophies, the worst thing is losing as I hate to very much. It stays with me the whole week till the next game” Gallagher said.
“My family has always been Chelsea fans which makes it nicer. My dad can’t believe I’m not quite a Chelsea proper first team player, but they’re happy with how I’m doing and hope I’ll carry on and be successful.
“Frank has shown he’s ready to try out youngsters with Tammy, Mason, James, Hodson-Odoi all in the squad already – they’re all going to play a big part in season long run. It has been paying off with how this guys have been playing this season already.
“It shows if you give youngsters the chance, they can do the job at Chelsea. I trained with the first team in pre-season and it feels so nice to be around. Its obvious my idol while growing was Frank Lampard.
“Frank and Bowyer were both midfielder and they understand me very well. They can help me a lot. Bowyer has helped me and I hope when I get into the Chelsea first team Frank Lampard will do the same” Gallagher added.
