Chelsea star Mason Mount cannot wait to play alongside ‘Awesome’ Ziyech


Chelsea’s Mason Mount says he has kept tags on new Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech from his playing time on loan in the Netherlands and cannot wait to start training alongside the Ajax talisman.

Ziyech who agreed a permanent move to Stamford Bridge in February although all football competition across the world has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic which has created some confusion over when he will join the club.

Mount was asked during a Corona FIFA tournament combat if he was looking to playing with ziyech, he replied ‘Yeah, two years ago I was in Holland on loan so I knew a bit about him then and obviously how good he was and awesome he’s became. ‘So obviously it’s another amazing, world-class player joining the club. So yeah buzzing to work with him, train with him and hopefully play with him.’

The transfer is due to go through on July 1, but both the Eredivisie and Premier League could still be trying to complete their seasons then, with Ziyech ineligible to play for his new club until the 2020/21 campaign begins.

Griezmann defends Giroud as Benzema adds more to ‘Go-Kart’ phrase


Antoine Griezmann has in a way defended Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud after Benzema named him after a ‘go-kart’.

Karim Benzema who hasn’t for once touched or lifted the World cup and was exiled from the France team pinned a punch on Olivier Giroud, insisting he was a Formula 1 and Giroud a Go-kart.

Griezmann who also won the World cup alongside Olivier Giroud has defended his team mate after refusal of comment on the inscribed word on Giroud.

‘I love Olivier Giroud, he’s a good player and he helped us win the World Cup. And that’s important in life.’

“i can’t answer all that, it could get me into trouble,”Griezmann said on Twitch.

Benzema elaborated on his comments and refused to take back his words but added more.

‘About Giroud, I simply said the truth. ‘But we didn’t remember what I said about him, especially about what he brings to the French national team.  ‘We just remembered the moment when I said I was F1 and he was karting. ‘That’s what I think, that’s the truth, and that’s how it is’. Benzema added.

War of words between two French international Karim Benzema and Olivier Giroud seems to hot up as Giroud replies to benzema calling him a go-kart and himself a formula one car when been asked of the compatible between them.

Meanwhile Olivier Giroud led the French team for their first worldcup winning campaign back dated to 2018.

“People say you cannot compare a Formula One car with a go-kart and the only thing I can say on the matter is that I’m a world champion, so that isn’t bad for a go kart.” Giroud told reporters.

Benzema who was banished for playing for France over allegedly accused of been part of a black mailing plot with his team mate.

Ruben Loftus-Cheeks: injury is hard but i’m in no rush to recover


Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-cheek insists on not rushing his comeback from injury as his body which is his “weakness” is also his strength.

Loftus had his breakthrough season last year but was cut short to suffering from a ruptured Achilles and hasn’t made it back to the team.

He returned some weeks back but could only step up to outings with the U23s. However, the pandemic has caused more delay in his full return to the A-squad.

€60million + Kepa Arrizabalaga for italian Goalkeeper: Not reasonable enough?


Several transfer news as clubs are in limbo on how to manage the squad in the period of the oncoming summer.

Chelsea has been very onlooking for new players to add to the strength of the squad and it is reported that Frank Lampard has been triggered to sign AC Milan Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for a fee of €60million in addition with current Chelsea No.1 Kepa Arrizabalaga.

That’s a sumptuous amount considering the fee paid to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga in less than two years past but can’t be denied as a very reasonable way to smuggle the goalie put of the squad having been bad in some ways that Frank had to sit him out.

Seemingly a very unlikely move because of the complexity but let’s see what the board and coach has to do in replacing Kepa or remaining in the squad.

Chelsea enquire over the availability of Achraf Hakimi from Real madrid


Chelsea are not sitting ducks with recent transfer dealings as the blues are looking to tighten the loosed hole after a transfer ban which was lifted earlier this year.

Blues after penning a good deal of Ajax’s talisman Hakim ziyech who will be joining his new squad in the upcoming summer break have also been eyeing Real Madrid’s full back Achraf Hakimi who’s currently on a two years loan at Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea are currently enquiring over his availability but Los Blancos seems to need some time over the summer before making decisions of if he’d be a surplus or he’s needed in their squad.

Hakimi has made it clear to the Madrid hierarchy that he will not put pen to paper on a new deal unless he is guaranteed first-team football, and with the experienced Dani Carvajal sitting in his way, that proposition seems highly unlikely.

With his contract set to due at the end of 2020/21 season and a buy out clause of £50m, he could remain in Dortmund if he’s parent club doesn’t need him or need move to another club over a nice deal.

Chelsea released a club statement on the official website stating the awareness of situations regarding the expansion of the stadium which was put on hold.

The statement was briefed on the Chelsea official website on the acknowledgement of planned expansion which is set to expire in days and consideration for new stadium options will arise in better economic conditions.

Chelsea beat Everton to Lille’s Gabriel Magalhāes as deal seems almost completed


Chelsea are very close to signing Lille’s center back Gabriel Magalhāes for whenever the next transfer window surfaces.
