Chelsea are not sitting ducks with recent transfer dealings as the blues are looking to tighten the loosed hole after a transfer ban which was lifted earlier this year.
Blues after penning a good deal of Ajax’s talisman Hakim ziyech who will be joining his new squad in the upcoming summer break have also been eyeing Real Madrid’s full back Achraf Hakimi who’s currently on a two years loan at Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea are currently enquiring over his availability but Los Blancos seems to need some time over the summer before making decisions of if he’d be a surplus or he’s needed in their squad.
Hakimi has made it clear to the Madrid hierarchy that he will not put pen to paper on a new deal unless he is guaranteed first-team football, and with the experienced Dani Carvajal sitting in his way, that proposition seems highly unlikely.
With his contract set to due at the end of 2020/21 season and a buy out clause of £50m, he could remain in Dortmund if he’s parent club doesn’t need him or need move to another club over a nice deal.
